Hi! I wasnâ€™t able to get the Ross done because the mitral valve was in worse shape than anticipated & there was a timing issue. Dr El-Hamamsy put in the bovine tissue valve which was larger than anticipated meaning I can most likely have 2 TAVRâ€™s done instead of 1... Read more.

Just got my surgery date! October 8th. Going to have my mitral, aortic, pulmonary & possibly tricuspid valves worked on. Did I miss a valve?!? ðŸ˜‚ Itâ€™s been a journey with endocarditis but I have so many blessings to count. I am definitely one of the lucky ones!! â¤ï¸ðŸ™ðŸ» #CountYourBlessings

Man, talk about valves. They may need a chain saw. Maybe do a valve job on the car while there. Pray for a successful surgery. You look very healthy.

I've been there, done that. Dr. Adams and his team are the best! If anyone can repair a valve, it's him. I'm coming up on my 3-year anniversary.
