John - you look amazing and healthy. Congratulations and keep up the steady recovery. Were they able to do it all as planned with the Ross after the repairs? Any thing you wish you knew before hand?

Hi! I wasn’t able to get the Ross done because the mitral valve was in worse shape than anticipated & there was a timing issue. Dr El-Hamamsy put in the bovine tissue valve which was larger than anticipated meaning I can most likely have 2 TAVR’s done instead of 1... Read more.

Surgery just got postponed until (hopefully ) Monday 10/7. I’m currently at Mt. Sinai for pre-surgery testing & for some unknown reason my liver enzyme levels have spiked dramatically . Now I’m in diagnostic mode until these levels hopefully return to normal. Keeping faith that this corrects itself â¤ï¸ðŸ™ðŸ»

My liver enzymes went up from from Tylenol given in hospital. I hope they find why soon and you get your surgery.
Gosh dang it I’m so sorry! Could this get any more nerve wracking? I’m so sorry you are having this blip. Holding the faith it all gets sorted soon.

Got a call today from my Surgeon’s coordinator with a schedule change. Surgery got moved up to October 3rd from October 8th! My journey begins on October 1st with pre-surgical testing etc…
Best of luck….a week’s less worry!
