"This is a very bright man who manages to discuss your condition clearly without inciting panic and fear. Instead he explains very clearly how he can correct the situation. The doctor fully explains the chain of events that will occur on your operative day and what to expect when you wake up. No surprises, which worked very well for me. I had to remain on the ventilator a few hours post op and having known it could be a possibility reassured me that nothing was wrong, that it happens and that's ok. My recovery is flying. I have to say the pain was not too bad for me and I generally only used Toradol in lieu of Dilaudid. I don't like to be dazed so I just avoided it. I also was taking Tylenol alternating.

This doctor has proven his success rate if you look at the data. He is approachable and down to earth. He has an excellent team of nurse practitioners, PA's, and physicians that are professional and provide seamless care. Thank you Dr. Adams!"

The valve had calcification that increased the difficultly of repair. My 4 hour surgery turned into nearly 8 hours and he checked and repaired the tricuspid valve as well.
