About Me

I was diagnosed with endocarditis in August, 2024. We traced it back to a routine dental cleaning on May 2. I started not feeling well two weeks after the cleaning and wasn’t correctly diagnosed until 3 months later. Although it was extremely frustrating for me and my family, I am very grateful that this was caught. I am looking at a double valve surgery in the near future. My aortic needs replacement and my mitral valve can hopefully be repaired.
