About Me

My name is Pam Gregory and I am 55 years old. I have had a heart murmur as long as I can remember but didn't realize it meant having open heart surgery one day. About 6 years ago I was told about my aortic stenosis. I have been going to the Cleveland Clinic since December as I wanted a 2nd opinion. I live in Delaware but luckily my Sister-in-law lives 35 mins from the Cleveland Clinic. They found that I have a bicuspid aortic valve that is severely calcified and severely stenotic. At my last visit I was told it is time for surgery. I am really scared but I know that Dr. Roselli is one of the best. I think I am more worried about recovery and pain than anything else. I have been following this website since December and it is very helpful to hear everyones stories. Thanks
