This Monday the 21st will be 6 months post-Ross for me. Had my first follow up CT scan last week. I was a little nervous, because the results showed a very small "outpouching" where my right coronary artery had been reattached to the aortic artery. My cardiologist referred the results... Read more.

Congratulations on 6 months Marcus. Glad everything is going well. Continued health with your recovery. 👍
Marcus, just a few hiccups for you. In the grand scheme of things, it sounds like you are doing well. 👍
Thanks for sharing your update Marcus. That is interesting to learn about the "outpouching". FYI -I had a similar issue with high Creatine and using a NSAID for 6 months post Ross. My blood test for kidney function normalized a few months after stopping. Hopefully yours will as well 👍🏻
I so wish this procedure was an option for me. Go for OHS April 30th for Aortic Valve Replacement and Left Main CABG. Congrats for such great progress and healing. Prayers for continued good health.

Great positive report. 👍🙏❤️
Great news, sounds like you are well on your way to a full recovery.
Great news. Who was your surgeon? My daughter would like to have same procedure.
Wow that’s great. Thanks for sharing :) so glad you are progressing well
Larry, I had Dr. Joseph Woo at Stanford. I was very happy with him and his team, and the new wing of Stanford's hospital where I had the surgery, stayed in the ICU, and then in the step-down unit was great. Nicest hospital I've ever been in!

Recovery update: today I'm one month post-op from a full sternotomy and Ross Procedure at Stanford Medical. I'm 46 years old, and was in good physical shape going into surgery with no other medical issues. I initially spent 5 days in the hospital, with 3.5 of those in the ICU.... Read more.
Great update, thanks for sharing. You will continue to get better.
