About Me

Hello, I am writing this for my mom Pat who is having the procedure. She is 87 years old and normally very active. We have know for a few years that her aortic stenosis was moderate. In January she developed worsening shortness of breath that has impacted her ability to do the things she enjoys. It was found that her stenosis is now severe. Due to a blockage in her femoral artery they will be using her carotid to access her aortic valve. Has anyone out there had the TAVR procedure via the carotid? All prayers and good vibes are greatly appreciated! - Margaret
