Feeling a bit frustrated this weekend. My surgical consult was scheduled for 3/12. I got a call on Friday from my surgical liaison that my cardiologist's office was unable to send the images from my echos, CAT and cardio cath because their machine that transfers the images to a CD-ROM... Read more.
I'm so sorry! Hopefully this will get worked out soon and you will have your appointment and put this bump in the road behind you as you prepare for better days.
I'm sorry you had that experience. When I went for a second opinion last week, the first hospital had not yet shared the my records with the second surgeon, even though they were requested 2 weeks in advance. I was able to pull up the images of my CT through... Read more.
I am not sure if you are headed north or south from SLO for your treatment or if your testing hospitals are close to you or in anther city. You can always get a copy of your test results and keep your own file. I have done that and I... Read more.
Thanks Dan Fouratt. Everything had been going so smoothly, I didn't even think about getting copies myself. One test hospital is 35 minutes away and the other is 5 minutes. Headed to Palo Alto to meet the surgeon.
I like how you phrased Rant Over at the end. I'lll need to remember that. Hopefully this sorts out. (Stanford?!)

Oh wow, I'm so sorry about the frustration. I have nothing to add other than acknowledging how frustrating that must be.
