Looking terrific, Linda! Glad to see you have your heart pillow! Mine is one of my most prized possessions! ❤
What a beautiful smile! Welcome to recovery. May it be uneventful.
Looking great! Way to go! Bring recovery on.
Linda, you look amazing! Happy for your discharge and hope your recovery continues smoothly. I’m jealous of your heart pillow. The Cleveland Clinic ran out, so I didn’t get one. But as my husband said, the heart that matters most isn’t a pillow! ❤️
Congratulations on your successful surgery. Wishing you a smooth recovery.
You look amazing!!! Great job! The hospital I was in gives or teddy bears with hears on their chest ... so sweet and it did help to cough. :)

Had mitral and tricuspid valve repair plus maze procedure and left atrial appendage closure on Thursday, Feb 3rd. Discharged home Monday, 2/6. Surgery went as planned. Recovering now at home. Thankful to have it behind! Now the recovery phase and rehabilitation phase begin. Fatigue is now hitting me. The Cedars-Sinai... Read more.
Hi Linda….wonderful news and glad you are doing so well! Did your procedures require a sternotomy? I am also having mitral and tricuspid repair at Cleveland Clinic on April 4. I wish you continued strength during your recovery!! ❤️‍🩹
Linda- that is great news! Glad everything went well. Congrats!
Woo-hoo! Great news, Linda! Welcome to recovery! ❤
Sue Star…..my surgeon Dr Chikwe uses a minimally invasive approach via the DaVinci robot, with a mini right thoracotomy.
Wow, that’s a fantastic in and out rate. Didnt realize so much repair could be done via the minimally invasive approach. Congrats! On to cardiac rehab in coming weeks!

Although I have been a nurse for over 40 years, And know what to expect this is still quite a unique experience. Of course I would prefer... Read more.
Glad you are feeling so very confident. Please let us know how surgery goes. We will all be waiting to hear. God Bless and as someone else told me, "enjoy the nap"
Heather, I cant say I am so confident…however I have moved to accept, trust and have faith that this is the right thing to do, 🙏
From one nurse to another, I wish you a smooth journey through surgery and recovery! I will be celebrating my 5th anniversary in March. The whole experience is doable, and was not as “bad” as my worrying mind would have me believe..Looking forward to your post-op notes!
Best wishes to you. I've heard great things about Cedars-Sinai and you're in the best place. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way.
Prayers for you. You are going to great. 🕊💪❤️‍🩹
Couldn’t help but identify with your words about acceptance, trust and faith that you’re doing the right thing. Best wishes as you go through your procedure I’ll be up next week and hoping for the same strength you’re showing!
