I was diagnosed with Prolapsed Mitral Valve when I was 19, and have experienced Arrhythmias for most of my life. The last couple years I have noticed increasing arrhythmias (PVCs, V Tach, PACs and PAF) , reduced exercise tolerance plus a couple syncopal episodes requiring Zio monitoring and trips to the ER along with Increasing regurgitation in both the mitral and tricuspid valves. After extensive research of cardiac programs and surgeons I am now scheduled for a Mitral Valve and Tricuspid Valve repair, plus Maze procedure by Dr Joanna Chikwe at Cedars-Sinai on February 3rd, 2022.
