About Me

I have radiation heart disease from treatments for Hodgkin Lymphoma in 1984. I haven't had too many symptoms until 2020, when my valve issues starting progressing rapidly. I will be having the Commando Procedure, which will include replacing the fibrous skeleton of the heart, which will allow Dr. Tong to have something to attach the new valves to. My valve replacements will be tissue valves, which is the best choice for someone in my age group.
