My heart chambers are back to normal size as the heart remodelled postoperatively, so this trace-moderate regurgitation obviously doesn't have a great impact. At least not as big as before the surgery when atrium and ventricle were under much strain and dilated. Stay positive! Keep us updated.

My surgery went very well yesterday. My surgeon, Dr. Sarin, was able to repair my mitral valve. Iâ€™m so grateful for this. He told me that the valve was leaking very badly. Although I was asymptomatic (except when hiking big hills!) it was definitely time to get this problem fixed.... Read more.
