I’m still processing my ohs on 6/27. I don’t remember much except my surgeon saying I was bleeding and he had to take me back to surgery. I remember seeing my daughters face, my granddaughter and my son in law. I remember asking my son in law to take care of my girls. You see, my daughter is expecting a much loved baby girl next month. Nobody will tell me the sequence of events. I know my hemoglobin dropped to 4 and I was given 8 units of blood on a rapid infuser. I may get to be discharged to home on 7/4. What I do know is that friends and family around the country prayed for me and my surgeon. When he got me back to surgery, he could see that my mammary artery, left side had been nicked. I’m so exhausted, so is my hubby and we’ve started bickering. It’s just stress. One of these days, I’m gonna have a good cry.
