Of course my last day of work before my surgery started off with a bang! This morning I walked into the garage to put some stuff in the car and realized that we had left the garage door open all night. This was after I tripped over the stuff that's in our recycling bin in the garage. Something had gotten in the garage last night and gotren into our recycling bin. It was probably a raccoon. I cleaned up everything in the garage, put the stuff in the car, and then when I went back in the house to brush my teeth I noticed a smell. Not a good one. That's when I realized that I had stepped in raccoon poop (or whatever animal it was) and tracked it through the whole house. So I had to clean my shoes and the carpet in spots,clean up the mystery poop in the garage, and go to work. Then when I got to work I noticed that my foot was wet. Well I guess when I was cleaning the bottom of my shoe...I got water all inside of it. So now I'm working with one wet shoe all day. What a sh***y way to start your day. Ha

Well. Here we are. Surgery week. It's Monday and surgery is Friday. I'm ok. A little anxiety is expected from anyone that's going to have their chest cracked open, heart stopped, valve cut out and replaced, aortic aneurysm removed and replaced with artificial aorta, and get all sewn back up. Haha. I just want this to be over with. Wish me well!
