God answers my prayers yesterday! My infection is gone, my valve is perfect and I don’t need surgery. Still having rythym issues but I saw the electrophysiology cardiologist and he said it’s not a big deal. Described me like a race car at full speed when working out my heart... Read more.

Kidding! In the last 18 months I’ve been here 30 times. I remember when life was easy and I didn’t have these issues. Well my Rythym issues are back and I got down into the 20/30 range and starting having symptoms. Those are new in the past I never had... Read more.

I’m out for now. These rythym issues don’t stay away for long. I’ll be seeing my cardiologist very soon.

I'm so sorry to hear that you have had these problems! You've given us all good advice. Was there any damage from the heart attack? I will be praying for you. GOD bless you.
WOW!!!!! We are saddened to hear this for you. So hard to fathom another valve replacement so soon. It has to be so hard mentally when you are doing everything right with diet, exercise and lifestyle and still end up here. I had a flu shot and phneumonia shot these... Read more.
Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers. Well I’m still here...9 days only because of the infection. Should be leaving tomorrow with a pick line and 6 weeks of antibiotics to hopefully fix my valve. Can’t imagine another surgery so soon and even as of today the valve is perfect.... Read more.
So sorry Chris. I saw in an older post that you received a pacemaker. Are you being see by the group that did your surgery. Wishing you a recovery from your set backs!

Oh no! I am so sorry you are going through this. I have been thinking of you after your post a while back. What were you sick with in Sept? Prayers for an easeful recovery and that this is the end of any more concerns.

Hi Chris, I am so sorry you and your precious family are going thru this setback. You sound amazingly calm versus from before you had your valve surgery. I am praying, even, harder for a smooth recovery and for your valve to be healed. Did you doctors let Dr. Lamales... Read more.
Chris... you are absolutely right about listening to your body! After replacing two aortic valves in 18 months ... infection was a player in both. If your appetite isnt normal and you cant ever get warm you better get checked on before its too late!
What an ordeal and what a battle, Chris. I'm sorry you've had to endure all of this and I hope the antibiotics will make a quick end of any remaining infection. Kudos on all the walking. You're a warrior!
