Greetings from Cleveland. Had a nice walk in Forest Hills Park. Off to see Roselli and team before our sonâ€™s AVR tomorrow. All of your well wishes have been passed along to our son. Thank you!

Best of luck. Tell your son that ice chips are your best friend the first 6-8 hours - so keep asking for them in those critical first hours of ICU post extubation.

I second the remark about communication. He should feel comfortable being honest about how heâ€™s feeling and what he needs! Itâ€™s going to be so good for all of you to be on the other side and focusing on recovery.

Dr. Roselli is awesome and your son is in excellent hands. He did my AVR last year. I was a complete disaster in the "prep and hold " area so they knocked me out!!! Very wise on their part😊❤️
