Well, my AVR was April 11th. It's been 3 weeks and 4 days post op. I am out walking with my PT! The road hasn't been easy but it hasn't been unattainable either! Those facing surgery, you can do this! Each day and each week will make such a difference... Read more.

Hey Joyce. Glad to see u back. I prayed for you. Your scar looks good. Have u started rehab? I'm almost 7 weeks and still waiting for mine to start. I think I have insurance finally straight.
Congrats Joyce you made through the first half, Yea! You look great, full of hope and rising to it as it comes. May God continue to bless you and your family. Yes, walking is one of the best medicines for us heart valve survivors. Big thumbs up to you!

Thanks Denise for your prayers! I start rehab on May 17th. I am glad that you got your insurance worked out! Thank goodness for insurance when going through what we have all gone through!
