Sherry, you have been through a lot and its it's perfectly normal to have a slew of different emotions. Try to focus on the fact that you will get better with each day. It's a journey and as you feel better your emotions will feel better too. Hope this helps.

Well was thrown a curve ball today. My surgery was bumped to January 27th due to my surgeon needing to perform a heart transplant. First thoughts when I received the call was disappointment, frustration and who I needed to call. I have processed the change in date and shifted into... Read more.

You show great strength in accepting and adapting! I’m just meeting with my surgeon for the first time today...with the same Mitral Valve regurgitation....I will be thinking of you on the 27th!

4 days and counting....so many thoughts running around in my mind preparing for my surgery. Reading alot, cleaning and organizing which makes me feel good...lol. I know my nerves will catch up with me on the day of surgery but keeping all thoughts positive. Love to all! Sherry❤️

Wonderful attitude Sherry. Keep the thoughts positive! As you may have read in the other posts here, the waiting can be the toughest part of this entire process. Thoughts and prayers are with you!
Good luck Sherry. I have been cleaning and organizing as well. I tell my family and friends that it's like I'm pregnant and in the nesting phase! Prayers for a successful surgery and smooth recovery!
