Hi I'm Sherry and this is my journey... I was diagnosed with Mitral valve prolapse years ago but no symptoms were being experienced. Fast forward to present day and symptoms are rearing their head so now time to fix me up! So there was a first opinion then my second opinion whom I am extremely confident with doing the repair. Followed by other tests and the scheduling of the surgery for a mitral valve repair. A roller coaster of thoughts and emotions to process! This is very invasive open heart surgery but it has been my goal to educate myself. This is what prepares me for this journey. "This too shall pass" Love to all, Sherry
