About Me

A little about where I am at...at the moment...I’m 63 have always been active with cycling, hiking, kayaking, gyms, and Raquet Sports -mostly Tennis and more recently Pickleball. Just recently I have had to really change gears. I have had a heart murmur which was diagnosed in my 20’s which was quite functional and insignificant back then and up until more recently. I have in the last three years been followed by a Cardiologist for a Mitral Valve prolapse and regurgitation, which has progressed from mild to moderate and now to severe. Just before Christmas, I was referred to a Cardiac Surgeon as my heart is now compensating for this Valve. I am scheduled to see Dr. David for my first consultation at Toronto General Hospital On January 23, 2020. I have curtailed all other activities except walking now and I joined a Yoga studio thinking that Yoga and Meditation may be beneficial in helping me get to a good place physically and mentally at this time.
