Has anyone ever reported increased snoring after aortic valve replacement? I had a aortic repair of a bicuspid valve in 2001 and in Feb of 2019 had an aortic valve replacement. Even though I lost some weight my snoring has been way worse from the early post op time frame.... Read more.

I was a big time snorer until I got my CPAP-I already had mitral valve prolapse but not regurg at that point. NOt sure about the connection but I would suggest you go to a pulmonary MD to have a sleep study. Snoring can be a sign of sleep apnea... Read more.

Mitchell - Is it possible your throat was injured with the breathing tube? Inflammation may be causing your snoring. Might want to consult an ENT. Best of luck! â¤

Dr. Hartzell Scheff at Mayo Clinic a couple of days ago. He did my initial bicuspid valve repair and ascending aortic aneurysm repair in 2001 and on Feb 12, 2019, replaced my aortic valve with an Inspiris valve. All went well!! Thanks everyone!
