Mitchell's Profile

I had a ascending aortic anuerysm and bicuspid aortic valve repair in 2001. I now have aortic stenosis, aortic regurg and some left ventricular hypertrophy. However, I am relatively symptom free. I am trying to decide whether to go with a mechanical valve vs. Bioprosthetic valve. I have concerns over the nutritional implications of a lifetime of coumadin. Any one have any thoughts?
