Hi everyone !!! I will be at 7 months post surgery on 4/4. How long did your sternum hurt top and bottom? Still have pain, is that normal? Thanks ❤️ in advance. They have me rowing and doing the arm bike at rehab. I am also walking my 92 pound... Read more.
Walk that dog, row that boat ashore, and arm your bike. But not all at the same time.
I don’t remember having pain at that point, but having a big dog pulling like that could definitely overdo some of those newly healed muscles and bones.
I remember having discomfort if I did too much for a good year.
The key word marie is pulling. Shadow is not allowed to pull, sniff excessively, or pee on every shrub or pole. Our training classes and his pinch collar have paid off. On our daily 3-4 mile walk, i see other dog strollers that have not moved 10 feet from where... Read more.
Marie he pulls a lot. My husband has been on total dog walking duty and thru it all tore two meniscus so he is walking with a cane and I am trying to pitch in but I think you are right. I ended up straining even more. Pam - thanks... Read more.
