I have Barlow’s mitral valve with severe regurgitation. I am meeting for a surgical consult on July 16 with Drs. Adams and Boateng. Dr. Adams and Dr. Boateng were amazing during our consultation. I am certain I am in the best hands possible. I am currently asymptomatic but regurgitation is quite severe. My heart is not compromised at this time but if I wait any longer is most definitely will be. My surgery is scheduled for September 4, 2025 and will be a repair.
