About Me

I’ve joined this group as a result of a complication when having a repair to my pacemaker. One of the leads was not functioning and during the process of removing it for a new lead my tricuspid valve was torn. The echo and TEE show severe regurgitation. The repair or replacement are not done here and my cardiologists have not given me any recommendations in regards to surgery. I’ve learned this is not the favorite valve to work on and I’m in search of a surgeon with experience. I have contacted Cleveland Clinic and have a date in December for them to do testing. If anyone has recommendations or experience on what I might expect with the surgery and recovery on tricuspid AND a pacemaker I am all ears. So appreciative of Adam offering this type of support.
