Wow,. I was sitting in my back yard the other day when I noticed several signs in the neighbor's yard across the street. I asked the wife to snoop out the signs, and she returned in saying the signs are for me. The neighbor's little girl made these various signs... Read more.
That might be the sweetest thing I ever read on this site!!! What a lovely gesture. You certainly made an impression on this little girl for her to take such initiative to communicate with you. I have a feeling you're pretty special, too, Marshall!
So happy that you have such a great neighbor. I am finding support from so many people including friends and family. Even random strangers like the hotel desk clerk offer their best wishes.
You have a little angel on your side. So sweet. God bless her and you.
So sweet. Children are so awesome and more sensitive than we give them credit for. I can see why you cried.

Hello everyone. Well have a few days of post-op out not doing too bad considering the only thing that is dragging me down during the day is the beta blockers. The beta blockers make me tired all day where I don't feel like going for a walk and I just... Read more.

Drink a full glass of water when you take them. I take metoprolol - 12.5/day...staying very hydrated really helps, they take a while to get used to. I used Gatorade- that really helped too.
Marshall when I was taking them I took them before bed, it helped

It's a beautiful day here in Maine. Been out for several walk so far. I think I'm doing pretty good. What a New journey. Let's all stay safe and optimistic optimistic
I was just on my recumbent stepper for 30 minutes....raining out, again. Take care of yourself!
Just have to be patient, and keep putting one foot in front of the other...
If you are out walking several times per day just after being discharged, then you are doing really well. I couldn't do that!
Good job Marshall, you are doing great.
