Was wondering if anyone had really high BP before their procedure and then wonderful BP after procedure? It happened to me after my TAVR last Oct. I take the same medications now but guess the aortic valve stenosis wouldn't let the pills do their thing before TAVR.

Had TAVR 10/1 and leg cramps were terrible after. Had ultrasound of legs and circulation good. Then. THURS eve, I fainted and woke as soon as I hit the floor. Laid down and took my blood pressure cuz I felt weak. Real low and pulse rate was 33. I tried... Read more.

Lipitor causes severe muscle cramps to my brother. He and I, both, are now on Crestor.
Are you on a diuretic? I get muscle cramps during the night, and I accredit that to my diuretic.
Thank ou for the well wishes. I am not on a diuretic. 25 metoprolol bid, 20 lisinopril bid. And had been taking this combo over two years with no leg pain. Debbie, how long did it take for cramps to subside? Maybe the cramps are a result of the Lipitor... Read more.

And if the doctor does not call back today I'm going to have to make an important decision consider going back to the hospital ER. I don't live alone and have a 15 year old companion Animal who has severe anemia and hisdays are numbered. I feel a lot worse... Read more.
Lorraine - You just said the magic words - "new and disturbing ' - don't take a chance, go to the ER. It's always better to be safe when you have an onset of new symptoms. Please keep us posted! ❤
Anything "new and disturbing" is just that. Lorraine - go now. Serious.
I had severe pain in my groin the evening after my TAVR. An hemotoma was ruled out. After an hour of the nurse massaging the area, all was well. You need to get your leg checked out. I did not have beating in my ears, thank goodness. I am sorry... Read more.
