I had my second SAVR 3/18/26 so I’m 2 weeks out now. I have an Inspiris 25 valve and am feeling better each day. My wonderful surgeon, Dr Scott DeRoo at UW hospital, said it was an easy surgery with no surprises. The care at UW was excellent and I... Read more.
You are an inspiration to those of us that will have to have a 2nd surgery down the road. So glad everything went smoothly for you and I hope every day gets easier!❤️
What a great post! Yes, people who haven't gone through it done understand. Glad you are doing well!

Good luck, you know what to expect and will come through with flying colors. Sounds like our stories are somewhat... Read more.
I had to have a second open heart surgery within two and half years. It was scary and longer than the first one but successful and you will do well Joanne. We will be here to welcome you into recovery. God bless you 🙏❤️
Thanks for the encouragement. Yes this has been a tougher recoup and I keep comparing it to my first SAVR 10 years ago. It’s hard not to as that’s all I have to compare. My fatigue level is worse and I was already in cardio rehab by 2 weeks. I’m... Read more.
