Recently had my 14 year SAVR/Aneurysm repair anniversary. Pig valve still ticking but with a bit of calcification. No symptoms yet. Based on my annual testing and consultation with my cardiologist and surgeon, most likely will need to have it replaced in the next year or so. Interestingly, cardiologist says... Read more.

13th year SAVR anniversary!!! Everything still going great! I had my surgery when I was 48 year old....I turned 60 this past July. I DON'T feel 60, so therefore, I am not! In my mind, I still feel like a 30 year old. Anyway, the pig valve is still ticking... Read more.
