2 year anniversary of my AVR today! Feeling fully back to normal and maybe even a bit better than before.

This is really good to hear. I think I need surgery too. My ascending aorta is now 4.9. I'll also be having my bicuspid valve replaced. I still haven't decided on my valve. However, I've had to give up tennis, which I love so much, because I'm out of breath.... Read more.
Much better. It took longer than I wanted to get back to 100% but I'm more active today than before and feel great.

Today marks 1 year since my AVR and aneurysm repair. It feels like yesterday and 10 years ago at the same time. I'm not quite where I was pre-surgery, but I'm getting close.
It IS surreal, Jeff, and truly miraculous. Hoping your strength and stamina continues to improve!
Congratulations on your 1 year Valve-aversary!!! Sounds like you are doing great. I think at 1 1/2 years is when I started to feel a lot more like my old self. Especially fitness wise
I also felt the “yesterday and 10 yrs ago” feeling too. Sounds like you are doing well!

6 months and a few days have passed since surgery. Things are trending back up again after my cardiologist caught VTach episodes. They seem to be the cause of the "black out" episodes I was having from late October to mid-December. He put me on metoprolol and things seem to... Read more.

So glad you are doing better! Glad it was diagnosed and treated. I hope the beta blocker helps with the BP too. I have been following you on youtube — I appreciate your sharing, and am glad to hear this news.
