Hi. Everyone I went home friday, memorial weekend. Had some issues with my home health, because it being a holiday. They are doing my inr testing until i get setup for at the clinic here locally. I finally Got all that setup, but i started to feel more and more... Read more.

Hi Everyone.... I'm being discharged today. I was told that buy my nurse at 1030am 5/26/23. I hope they get me out of here fast. I have some yard work to do today. Ha Ha just pulling your leg. Anyway talk soon
Well they miss read the orders. It was yesterday that it was in my chart. So i dont know. They are waiting for my third day blood cultures to come back. That is what my surgeons assistant relayed to me about 6am this morning. ?????
It makes sense to wait for the blood cultures. Yard work will have to wait!!🤪

Gaining water weight is SO normal after surgery. It will disappear soon with diuretics. Your heart has been through a lot. My temperature fluctuated. Your hormones and your organs are overwhelmed by what your body just went through. Take it slow. Stay one more day or one more week in... Read more.

Jason, I know you want to get home but if they will let you stay an extra day, it might help you overall. Insurance might put the kabosh on it though. Recovery isn't easy but overall, you are doing ok. I bet it feels good to have the chest tubes... Read more.
I'm a phlebotomist. The blood draw bottle's sound like culture bottles (they have broth for bacteria). They may be interested in checking for any infection. I swelled up quite a bit after surgery and they gave me some diuretics that made me pee like crazy. But it works to get... Read more.
I also had a low fever and they did cultures before I was discharged.
