52 yr old Male, Heart Murmur, Dizzy when standing to fast. I have a (BAVD) Bicuspid Aortic Valve My Adsending Aorta is enlarged to, (4.8 Cm) also my Root is Enlarged, from Aortic Stenosis. Diagnosed in 2021. Angiogram will be happing 2/17/2023. Update: 3/3/23 Completed.. No blockages found... Great!! But they did find a fistula (CPAF) coronary artery to pulmonary artery. My own bodys Bypass, super rare. Wow a Another rare birth defect. Its been there 52 years, so how bad can it be. They want to do a CT scan to check that out more... as they couldnt see everything with the cath angiogram. They need to find where it goes, to see if they need to remove it or leave alone. Update 05/08/23: Surgery is on Friday 5/19/23. I will be the first of the day 7:30am check in 5:15am. I'm having a Modified Bentall, using a OnX mechanical valve and Graft. They will be replacing the adsending aorta and root. ASCENDING AORTA GRAFT; CARDIOPULMONARY BYPASS; AORTIC ROOT REPLACEMENT USING VALVED CONDUIT AND CORONARY RECONSTRUCTION Update 6/01/23 On 5/30/23 had a second surgery. Charles Carmeci performed a Pericardial Window A pericardial window is a surgery done on the sac around the heart. A small part of the sac is removed. This lets extra fluid drain from the sac. This was performed as a emergency operation. Low blood pressure, Dizzy with movement, fluid on heart.
