Send Annette a NoteAbout Me
I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve stenosis. It was watched for years but June 2022 I developed afib and have been on blood thinners since on February 7, 2023 I had my Mitral valve replaced with a tissue valve and a repair to my tricuspid valve and I also had the maze procedure. I had the sternum operation because my valve had a lot of calcification. I found the scariest part was fear of not waking up. I had an excellent surgeon Dr John Brown out of Morristown Hospital in NJ. It’s three months almost 4 and I am doing well. I just stopped taking Amiodarone and waiting to see if afib comes back. Fingers crossed it doesn’t. ðŸ™
