Good morning to all my heart brothers and sisters. I hope all is well with all of you! I jumped on today to update my photo (not getting older - just better - lol!) and to respond to Diana Chamblin-Bevirt’s concerns who is having her mitral valve repair heart surgery today . I am doing well. It will be 8 years in September since my mitral valve Re-repair surgery. I just had my annual echocardiogram on Monday and according to My Chart test results all appears stable with my valve. I will see my cardiologist next month for a 6 month check up and to review the results. I am so blessed! I thank God every day for Dr. Eric Roselli and his awesome team at the Cleveland Clinic for fixing my valve twice and extending my life! I continue to exercise with my husband and friends in the Silver Sneakers Cardio Class at our local YMCA twice a week as well as walking on my treadmill for 30 minutes 3 days a week. I pray for all those preparing for or recovering from surgery. Take care and as Adam always says, “Keep on tickin’!”❤️❤️‍🩹❤️

Hello to my heart brothers and sisters! I’m just checking in on this 13th day of September, the 5th anniversary of my mitral valve re-repair. I had my cardiology appointment in July and my echocardiogram indicated that all is well with my mitral valve. Praise God! I had been having some dizzy spells that concerned me so my cardiologist sent me home with a 48 hour heart monitor. Those results indicated that I was having more frequent PVC’s and PAC’s but not serious enough to do anything about at this time, but definitely something to keep an eye on. I pray all of you in this support group are doing well and staying healthy. Prayers for those preparing for heart valve surgery and those who are in recovery from a recent valve surgery.
