After surgery on August 13th and nine days in Cardiac ICU after complications arose, two more days in the hospital, three days at the hotel, we flew home. Apparently, I went into shock within 48 hours and my organs started shutting down. Spent four days on kidney dialysis and then... Read more.
Just finished three months of Cardiac Rehab and feel much better. Thank you to the staff at the Cleveland Clinic and especially the nurses in Cardiac ICU. They are truly Earthbound Angels.
Wow, Carmen. I’m sorry to hear you had such complications. I’m glad you are doing so much better. What a long haul. Did they have any theories on this? 💕

3 times a week, at least one hour each, for three months. I did 30 minutes on a bike and 30 minutes on the treadmill. Basically 36 visits. I worked up to a Nordic Tracker for 20 minutes, that was much harder and tends to make my right thigh cramp... Read more.
I'm so sorry you've had a difficult time. Unfortunately, complications are a real deal but the good news is that the doctors know what to do. God bless you as you continue your journey.
So sorry to hear you went through all this. Just got back on the heart journal. Did you do open heart surgery again or TAVR?
That was the second open heart surgery. 3rd if you count the emergency surgery five days later. It was a complicated surgery with the aortic valve replaced with a larger valve, replacing/reworking the aortic root and repairing/replacing a section of the ascending aorta because of an aneurysm.
