First time mowing! 4 months post op, almost done with cardiac rehab. Things are getting more back to normal. Dropped our youngest off at college last weekend, the empty nesters phase has begun.
Your doing a great job there Dave. The lawn looks great too!
Congratulations, Dave! You are an inspiration to all of us!
Iรขโ‚ฌโ„ขm around 4 months too and it does seem like the getting back to normal point. With a few exceptions - some afternoon naps in particular.
The empty nest part I'm sure is the hardest part. I'm not looking forward to that.
I just passed my 4 month point too and mostly back to normal with a few exceptions like Valerie. Still sleeping a lot after working full time. I think I will feel back to normal after I wear my heart monitor and hopefully be free of a few meds after... Read more.

Week 7 today for Dave. It was a big weekend as our youngest daughter graduated and we had a party that 120 people attended. It was hard for him not being able to help with the big things, but he had a great time visiting with the guests. He also... Read more.

Day 2 post surgery. Have to say itรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs so much better on this side for both patient and caregiver. Things are progressing well for Dave. He did go into AFib in the middle of the night, he is now on IV drip of amiodarone. Chest tube and catheter out this... Read more.

Welcome to recovery where we have some control!
And he is smiling! Afib is the pits. I hope he converts out of it soon. Welcome to recovery! Time to listen to the doctors and listen to your body.
Sending Best Wishes for Dave's recovery!!! Dean went also into Afib in the hospital after surgery. He had Afib prior but they did ablation during his surgery. After 2 weeks at home no more Afib and we are at 3 month and still no Afib. Hoping for Dave that the... Read more.
How is Dave doing? Have been thinking about you both. I just got back home on 5/1. My AFib and lung issues were a challenge but being in the hospital was the best place to be. Hope Dave has had the afib fixed. ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ
