My husband went in to CVS Minuteclinic for a sinus infection in Nov 23.The NP discovered a heart murmur. Went to PCP who ordered an echo which showed he was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and now has severe stenosis and an aneurysm . He is a healthy 54 year old and is asymptomatic. In a matter of a few months he went from finding this out to needing OHS. This site has been so helpful, it is reassuring to read other people’s stories. He had an angiogram last week that came back clear. Meeting with the surgeon this week to discuss OHS.
