Valerie everyone is different. I had other issues going into it that caused me to take longer to get what I could consider 100%. So you can only go by what your body does. Eat healthy, walk if you can so that you are in good health going into it.... Read more.

Hi deb. Why was the TARV not a option? I thought that was for people in your age group..? I hope you well and a speedy recovery.
Sorry to answer for Deb, but I believe TAVR can never be done on a bicuspid valve.

Pamela Gregory, it is possible to do TAVR on selected bi-cuspid AV's but mine was so bad I was not a candidate. In other words, it can be done on low risk patients regardless of the valve anatomy.
