Today marks 4 months since my surgery. For those of you that have yet to undergo your surgery, know that you will feel so much better on the other side. It is a journey but it is worth it.

Randy, so glad you are doing well. I'm sure your words of wisdom will help someone in the wings waiting for their surgery.

Surgery went well. The pain has been manageable and I am happy to be on the road to recovery. I am now suffering from Afib, a rapid heartbeat, and blood pressure swings. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I'm glad to hear surgery went well for you also Randy.
Randy - Welcome to recovery! Irregular heart beats are not uncommon after surgery. Your heart has been through some change and is healing. Give it some time. Afib after surgery is often temporary. โค๏ธ
Randy, I had afib/aflutter for about 6 weeks after surgery. As Susan said, it's fairly common. I was extremely symptomatic to it though and it landed me back in the hospital each time. Hope yours is manageable. ๐Ÿ™
Yes, I had some blood pressure swings early in my recovery, with short runs of irregular heartbeats. Luckily for me, the irregular heartbeats never needed treatment and they lessened with time. The blood pressure settled down within a couple months.
Randy- great to hear you are on the recovery side. I too had BP swings and elevated HR. I was lucky to not have Afib. The elevated HR came down after a few months. I think rehab helped.
Great news Randy and continued good health. God bless you

As Kristine stated - all the best! Prayers being sent for you and a very successful surgery. รฐลธโ„ขย
Good luck tomorrow. The worst (waiting and dreading the surgery) is over. Waking up and realizing it is behind you is terrific.
Same here Randy best of luck to you, only natural to feel anxious, I sure did.
