p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-FLASH… Cardio exercise does not cure heart disease! You may laugh, but I only realized that yesterday! It’s been 8+ months since my MVR. For 50 years since college, I’ve been an avid runner, swimmer and biker. I was so happy that I was not going... Read more.

Paul thank you for sharing. You feelings are valid. Vertigo is horrible and I feel for you. Stay strong and stay the course. 💪
Thank you for your honesty Paul and I hear what you are saying. For many there is a before surgery and an after surgery. It's still very early for you so you will continue to feel changes. Even when one's heart gets "fixed" for most there will be some after... Read more.
Paul - Most estimates indicate that it takes a full year to recover from OHS. You'll likely regain your energy and your heart rate will come down over the next several months. It's definitely a process even after the scars heal. Hang in there! Better days are ahead! ❤️
You should check with your cardiologist. Recovery takes some time. But 6 months after surgery you should be back to what you did before if not better, assuming you did put in the effort which it appears you do. A resting HR of 80pm seems kind of high. I am... Read more.
6 months after surgery not every patient is back to what he/she did before or better. Every person is a singular individual and every case is different.
