Just a little over two months since surgery to remove the wires and my scar is healing wonderfully! :)
Looks great and so glad you're more comfortable without the closing wires. Once your bone has healed, they probably don't have any function.

Hello everyone-I hope you are doing well! I wanted to let everyone know that I've certainly improved since having the wires removed. That's great to hear you are going well. Was and is your Sternum healed together? Was this a big surgery like OHS since they need to open the chest? Did they place plates in? And how did your Surgeon come to removing your wires? Sorry I have so many questions... Read more.

It's been three weeks since I've had my sternal wires taken out. Besides the tired, sore process I'm going through I'm still feeling relieved the wire pain is gone. However, mornings are really rough right now and I find it extremely difficult to make it to work on time. My... Read more.

You can only get better because the hardest part is now behind you. Just don't give up because you don't know how to give up, if you did you wouldn't be on your way to recovery. Pain sucks, I know, and I also know you want it to go away... Read more.
