Hi everyone Itâ€™s now a year plus 2 months since my heart valve surgery. Just wondering is anyone is still dealing with a little PSTD or emotional Lows Iâ€™ve never actually talked to a professional but thinking about it

I haven't had any valve surgery. Definitely talk with your Primary Care about how you're feeling so he/she can refer you to the correct professional. You got this!!

I felt emotionally fragile for several months after surgery. The whole process makes us realize how mortal we are. It is worth speaking to your medical provider to get their take on your situation. Everyone heals at different rates, both emotionally and physically. Wishing you all the best.
