Hi, Everyone! I am 8 years out from my Ross Procedure and just found out I am going to have to have another OHS to address the moderate to severe regurgitation with my pulmonary valve (now in aortic position.) Has anyone had this surgery at University of Michigan Ann Arbor?
Oh Kristin, sorry to hear you will need another surgery.
Thank you, Valerie! I am apparently in the 20% of Ross Procedures that need repair work before the 20-year mark! I am just continually thankful for modern heart procedures!
So sorry to hear that! So glad you have such a good attitude!
I'm sorry you have to have another surgery so soon. Praying for a better outcome this time around
Hi Kristin, really sorry to hear this. Don’t know anything re Michigan. We’ve done a Ross at Mt Sinai and the care was excellent

Praying for you and with you for a perfect surgery, and complete recovery!
Keeping you and the family in my thoughts today. Looking forward to hearing about your great recovery.
Kristen, praying for you this morning. God is with you.
I hope Kristin and John don't mind me posting this tonight, but I've been in touch with him a bit today and know Kristin is now off the ventilator by 9:30pmish tonight and is a "trooper" per hubby John. Pray for the right pain meds so she can rest!
I pray that your surgery was textbook and your recovery will be uneventful! Today is a new day for you with a fixed heart. God bless and rise up!
