About Me

After 32 years of being told I had a murmur and it never being investigated, I have found out that I have a bicuspid aortic valve with regurgitation, mitral valve prolapse and an aneurysm on my ascending aorta. I am completely shocked by the diagnosis but grateful for the doctor that suggested I have an echo to investigate my murmur further. I am currently in the "waiting room" as my valve and aorta are being monitored, but am educating myself as much as possible about all of this. I am thankful to have found this site and all of the wonderfully supportive people on here. It has already helped me out so much!!
