Thanks Marie! Did you ever find a relative of yours that had the biscuspid valve? I have found no one so far and am relieved that both my daughters don’t have it!

A very nice message. I also had OHS six months ago to replace my calcified and bicuspid aortic valve. I had a successful surgery and a very strong recovery.
No, we did not find any relatives with a bicuspid valve. My brother and sister were negative, and I don't have kids. But , the gene may have come from my father's side, and most of his family never came to the U.S. (From Poland) We really had no contact... Read more.

So here I am post surgery 6 weeks already, I can’t believe it! Sorry I haven’t been on here sooner to update everyone. Surgery went really well and was about 7 1/2 hours. The new Edwards Inspire Resilia was put in, and a representative from the company was there since... Read more.
Good reminder that obstacles post op are temporary. Healing takes time and patience. Glad to hear your progress.
