4 days post op and possibly going home today!!
Congratulations! Welcome to the recovery side!
Wow! From “tough couple of days” to “going home”! That is awesome! You look relieved and relaxed. (Could be pain killers, I suppose,😎). Thanks for the post!
You look amazing Kathy and what a great recovery time post op!
You look great Kathy. Congrats to you!
Looking forward to your next post. You are doing so well so fast. Feeling happy to hear of your progress:)
You look wonderful! I wish you a quick recovery....one day at a time. All the best!

Just wanted to update everyone I had my mitral valve repair surgery on Tuesday and all went well. It's been tough the past couple days but slowly getting better
Great! Day 1 is rough, Day 2 was weak but better, and starting Day 3 I feel like that was a nice upward curve every day.
Great job Kathy. Thanks for the update! Take it one day at a time , think positive and keep grinding!
Glad things are going well for you!
Kathy - You did it! The worst is behind you. All the best!
Glad you are on the other side and doing well. Waiting is the worst!

Today I scheduled my mitral repair surgery at Duke with Dr Glower for 9/4. I'm feeling relieved that I have it set finally but also anxious now that I know it's coming.
👍 Someone, Someone and reacted to this
Kathy - scheduling surgery certainly creates a rush of mixed emotions. However, by the time 9/4 is here, you'll be ready to move forward and put surgery in the rear view mirror. You're going to be just fine!
