Send Tammy a NoteAbout Me
My husband went for his yearly checkup in June of 2018. His PCP told him that his heart murmur was louder than last year and set up an echo cardiogram. This showed that he had severe aortic stenosis. He was then referred to a Cardiologist in Butte MT for a heart cath. His doctor told him that his coronary arteries are "pristine". ( He was pretty proud of that. ) but the aortic valve was barely able to pump the blood where it needed to go. We received a call on Wednesday from the St. Patricks Hospital that he will be having a mini sternotomy to replace the valve.
