Six months this evening in ICU, a collective celebration ….no signs of ‘neurological deficits’ were determined. When I think back on my OHS journey, this conclusion is what touches me in such a meaningful way, that it leaves me without adequate words to describe my emotions….or how grateful I am.....for so much and to so many. This bracelet was given to me by my parents many years ago on my 18th birthday, and over the years I added numerous charms that were reminders of special occasions or events. During my recovery, my family replaced the charms with this very special heart charm….to be, and is, a cherished reminder of my courage and strength.
