Five years ago (July 17, 2015), I had aortic valve replacement via open heart surgery (mini) at Cleveland Clinic. This was last week in West Virginia after hiking up a mountain—800 feet elevation gain and three miles round trip.
Great picture! Happy Anniversary, too. It is always good to hear from “long- timers”.
Way to go, Sonny! Thanks for showing us a forecast. Keep truckin’ up those inclines!
Happy Fifth Anniversary, Sonny! Wishing you many decades of great health and celebrations! ❤ 🥂🍾
Incredible view! Keep on enjoying this beautiful life.
We have the same anniversary (mine just 2 years ago). Great report. It’s nice to hear of your success.

Home on Saturday 9 days after surgery. Still dealing with some complications. Right leg feels numb and vision has some white spots. Went to ophthalmologist today and he said he has seen this before where after heart surgery not enough oxygen got to certa
Hang in there Sonny, all of these problems will eventually go away. It will get better but it takes months to see full improvement. Unless it's a dangerous a-fib or life threatening bleeding from warfarin then the docs aren't really too compassionate about side effects of surgery. :-)
Congrats on getting home. Hoping all your complications go away and you improve some everyday.
Hey man I completely understand. Everybody is the same when they get home including me. You can't wait to get away from the hospital, but when we get home and away from the security of the hospital and caregivers, we start to critique and worry more about the little things.... Read more.
Thanks, Sonny. Sincerely hope this will turn out to be nothing major and you'll continue to recover. Pretty typical, I think, once you've had the diagnosis and surgery, to feel concerned about any symptoms.
