About Me

I had a bad EKG - was advised to do an echocardiogram and discovered I had a bicuspid Aortic Valve with regurgitation and mild stenosis - advised to wait a year and see the progression - 9 months later I had a stroke. Decided to do the On X Mechanical Valve on Sept 12 this year. I have felt great and still do but today after a follow up echocardiogram I have discovered my Ejection Fraction has dropped from 57 pre operation to 34 post op - I am now awaiting my game plan to get this back up as it is very concerning.
